‘Club Literati’ in Collaboration with ‘Uthaan Foundation’, Bhopal Organized a Book Launch Ceremony for Arayna’s book. Arayna was felicitated by Hon’ble Mr Mangubhai C Patel, Governor of M.P. ; Hon’ble Mr Vishwas Sarang, Minister of Medical Education (M.P.); Shri Manoj Srivastava, Retd. Senior IAS Officer and author to about 36 books and many such prominent personalities in the field of literature and journalism at Minto Hall, Bhopal on 10th October 2021.
John Holcroft editorial illustrator has been around since 1996 and has worked in a variety of mediums and styles over the years. Today, he’s an acclaimed illustrator creating digital illustrations for some of the biggest brands and media organisations in the world. John’s past clients worldwide including: BBC, Reader’s Digest, Financial Times, Walker books, The Guardian, The Economist, Haymarket, conde nast, TES, Radio Times, Cathay Pacific, Experian, Informa Plc, New York Times, Honda, Wall Street Journal and many more. He was kind enough to allow me to use his illustration for my poem “Emotional Chaos.”
Her book was also appreciated by Lina Ashar, founder of Kangaroo Kids Education Limited. The industry has recognised and awarded Lina several times over for her unique and meaningful contributions to the sector. Lina Ashar not only went through the book but also shared her thoughts on Amidst The Downpour.
A felicitation ceremony for Arayna was also held at Billabong High International School, amongst her peers and faculty members. Arayna briefly spoke about her book, what motivated her to write it, and the message she intends to send to her readers through her work. Mr Najam Jamal, the Chairman of the school, presented Arayna with a Letter of Appreciation. Our Principal, Mr Ashish Agrawal, also addressed the gathering and urged the students in the audience to pursue their passion incessantly and with focus, drawing examples from Arayna’s journey.
Amidst The Downpour was featured in 6 different prominent newspapers including Raj Express, Patrika Bhopal, Dainik Bhaskar, Peoples Samachar, Navduniya and many more. It was also featured in LitGleam, India’s first literary and lifestyle magazine catering to the interest of the urban youth and it was covered was in New Indian Express, Banglore Edition
